The proceeding hearings and the recommendation by the House of Representatives Committee on Aviation in charge of investigation the purchase of bulletproof cars by the Minister of Aviation has been said not to reflect each other.
The Ministry of Aviation and its head say that due process was followed in the procurement of both bulletproof cars by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA). According to a statement released by the Ministry, the vehicles were not purchased by the Minister on her behalf.
The House of Representatives have urged the President to review Ms. Oduah’s term ain the ministry for allegedly violating the 2013 Appropriation Act.
