Rivers State Governor and Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi, in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. David Iyofor, accoring to #Punch, has hailed Osun State Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, on his victory in Saturday’s election.
Aregbesola defeated the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Iyiola Omisore with over 100,000 votes.
“It goes to show that the people of Osun decided to vote wisely. They chose sustainable development and good leadership," the statement said.
He also expressed confidence that come 2015, other states across the nation would follow the example of the people of Osun by embracing the change offered APC.
