National Chairman of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Sen. Ali Modu Sheriff has constituted four special committees, to help prepare the party for its May 21, 2016, National convention.
A statement issued by the National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Chief Olisa Metuh, said the setting up of the special committees is in line with the decision of the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the party.

National Convention Committee : Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike - Committee Chairman
Taraba State Governor, Dairus Ishiaku - Deputy Chairman
Governor of Ebonyi State, Engr. Dave Umahi - Secretary
Reconciliation Committee : Bayelsa State Governor, Seriake Dickson - Chairman
Senator Ibrahim Mantu as Deputy Chairman
Finance Committee : Gombe State Governor, Ibrahim Dankwambo - Chairman
Senator Godswill Akpabio - Deputy Chairman
Zoning Committee : Akwa-Ibom State Governor, Emmanuel Udom - Chairman
Barr. Kelechi Igwe as Secretary.
