The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has hailed President Goodluck Jonathan for graciously accepting the insults hurled at him from the opposition.

Which President would have tolerated the level of insult the opposition( external and internal) hurl at him everyday? If they are not on TV and radio abusing him, they are at a public forum or in newspapers and magazines. When those ones no do, they even write letters. Now they don write book, yet no one is harassing no one. We are very grateful to God that finally, our dear country has got it right. We now know the difference between democracy and dictatorship. We have a President whose faith in democracy is jealously undiluted, who believes that democracy is nullity without fundamental freedom to the citizens. President Jonathan is a perfect example in rule of law, in transparency and in accountability and has been unwavering in protecting these delicate values. Thank you Mr. President, thank you Nigeria! ".
