Sikiru Ogboye, a member of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP was on Sunday shot dead in Ibeju Lekki area of Lagos State.

According to NIGERIAN TRIBUNE, Ogboye was killed while monitoring the distribution of the permanent voters’ cards in Ibeju when the incident occurred.

The Lagos state police command is yet to confirm the murder.
