Dr Cairo Ojougboh, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP National Vice-Chairman, South-South, says the party will employ all constitutional means to unseat the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Alhaji Aminu Tambuwal.

He made the statement on Wednesday while reacting to Tambuwal`s defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC) from PDP on Tuesday in Abuja.

"PDP is a disciplined party; if you use the PDP to elevate yourself and get into office when the time comes, God will get you out like the issue of Aminu Tambuwal.

"PDP will do everything within the law to regain its seat and that is what we are going to do in Edo and Rivers. We are going back to South South to regain our seats,’’ he said.

Ojougboh, however, urged members of Rivers PDP not to be worried about "the ranting of the opposition'' in the state as PDP would reclaim it in 2015.

He also reacted to allegations made by some presidential aspirants that they were denied nomination forms by the PDP leadership.

He said that all complaints relating to sale of forms for elective offices would be addressed before the closure of sales.

"Nobody in PDP is denied nomination forms. Everybody that wants to buy forms has access. We are attending to the complaints coming from the sale of forms. PDP will never disenfranchise anybody.”

Ojougboh added that aspirants from South South with complaints on sale of nomination forms for 2015 general elections should go to the party's zonal office in Port Harcourt.

He said the issue of the PDP presidential candidate had long been resolved by the party leadership, adding that complaints of the aspirants would be addressed.

“The issue is that the party has taken a decision on the issue of presidency at the National Executive Committee meeting. If they have paid, I assure you that the matter will be addressed,’’ he said.
