Spanish defender, Marc Bartra who was the only player that got injured following the Borussia Dortmund bus bombing has undergone successful surgery.
Through his Instagram page, the defender who suffered a broken wrist as a result of broken glass as an explosion shattered windows on the Bundesliga side's team bus, shared a thumbs up photo accompanied with a thank you message to fans. He wrote:
'As you can see I am doing much better. Thank you, everybody, for all your support and your messages!
According to Dortmund coach, Thomas Tuchel, Marc Bartra will return to training in four weeks.
