Politics Plateau: Jang Claims He's Nigeria’s Poorest Governor

Governor Jonah Jang of Plateau state has labelled himself 'Nigeria's poorest governor' .



THE EAGLE ONLINE reports that the governor claimed the title while speaking on Sunday at an interdenominational service to mark this year’s Democracy Day. He challenged his critics to go check the records and prove otherwise.

The Governor also told the worshipers not to blame President Goodluck Jonathan for the woes of the country but rather the fall in oil price.

The problem with Gov Jonah Jang is not the poverty of resources but the poverty of ideas, lack of vision, no back- up plans and misplaced priorities.When you invest heavily in construction projects and you're still owing workers 6 months salary; few days to handover and no plans to pay. Plateau needs a governor that is booming with ideas in his head to unlock the untapped potentials in the state. I'm not even sure the incoming governor has what it takes.
