Sports Post-mortem results claim Cameroonian footballer Albert Ebosse was beaten to his death in Algeria

Cameroonian footballer Albert Ebosse who died in an Algerian football league game is said to have passed away as a result of severe beating that he got.

Initially it was thought that Ebosse died as a result of the injury he got because of a sharp object that was hauled at his head as he made his way out of the stadium.

However, a new post-mortem results has proved otherwise, claiming that the player did not die from the object thrown at him.

Ebosse's family requested for a pathological test and the outcome claimed that the player's death was caused by "brutal aggression" which could have resulted in when he fought for his life.

The 24-year old before his death, was playing for JS Kabylie and even netted the only goal in his club's 2-1 defeat that day.

What the Algerian authorities claim killed Ebosse, was a stone thrown at his head which led to his eventual death on 23 August at a hospital.

But an Andre Moune's report contradicts that, further stating that he had suffered upper body injuries which could have happened due to: "signs of struggle''

The report also added that, during the struggle, Ebosse received "a blow to the head" which caused "an indentation of the skull" that affected his brain.
