Politics President Jonathan Directs Police, NSCDC to Quit Protecting Nigeria's Oil Pipelines

In line with the Nigerian government's plan to safeguard Nigeria's waterways and oil pipelines, the Presidency instructed the police and the NSCDC to quit the job of protection and has given it to some companies which have been signed by the government.

This takeover will be in effect by March 16.
