Early on Friday, President Goodluck Jonathan of Nigeria who is on a 2-day working visit to Kastina state took out time to visit with the family of Late President Umaru Yar'Adua.
Though the visit was a private one, pictures of it were posted online by Reuben Abati, Presidential spokesman. So far, the pictures which show President Jonathan kneeling before the late Yar'Adua's mother have sparked debates online.
This is not the first time President Jonathan is seen kneeling in public. The President who is known for his humble gestures, has been known to kneel before 'men of God' for prayers.
Jonathan was Yar'Adua's Vice President when the former was alive.
