President Goodluck Jonathan on Wednesday met with Governors elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, party leaders and Attorney General of the Federation, Mohammed Adoke to discuss the defection of Aminu Tambuwal, speaker of the house of representatives to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
According to NIGERIAN TRIBUNE, no official statement was released after the meeting. Those present at the meeting included PDP national chairman, Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu, Deputy Speaker of the House of representatives, Honourable Emeka Ihedioha; the Deputy Leader of the House, Honourable Leo Ogor; chairman, House Committee on Health, Ndudi Elumelu.
The Governors of Akwa Ibom,Bayelsa, Benue, Gombe, and Enugu states were also present.
