President Goodluck Jonathan will on May 10 receive the Nasarawa State Deputy Governor, Mr Dameshi Luka who recently defected from the All Progressives Congress (APC) into the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP).
According to Mr Yunana Iliya, Nasarawa state PDP Chairman arrangements are on top gear to receive the President in Lafia.
Senator Solomon Ewuga, who represents Nasarawa North in the Senate, and some federal law makers, who dumped the APC for the PDP, would also be received at the occasion.
The Chairman also expressed optimism that the party would win the March 2014 local government election in the state, adding that machinery had been put in place to ensure that.
