Politics Protest in Kaduna as El-Rufai Names Non-Indigene LG Boss

Today, Gbagyi women and youths from Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State blocked major roads leading to headquarters of the local government secretariat over appointment of Hajiya Hadiza Yahuza, a non Gbagyi as council boss.



PM NEWS reports that the women and youths accused the State Governor Mallam Nasir El-Rufai of marginalization and injustice against the people of Chikun LG who are predominantly Gbagyi.

Addressing journalists State Chairman of Gbagyi youths, Amos Isah said that El-Rufai messed up Gbagyi while he was FCT Minister in Abuja and he is today here as governor doing same to the Gbagyi in Kaduna.

''This we will resist vehemently'', Isah said.
