Today on Twitter was quite interesting.
Reno Omokri came online and began his usual pro-GEJ tweets. The crowd was whipped into his frenzy as he swung his fingers this way and that, orchestrating tweets to the resounding crooning of the fanbase by way of retweets, favorites and general engagement.
This, I suspect, was what led to what happened today. The ‘support’ and ‘love for GEJ’ might have reached unprecedented heights and Reno Omokri (or “Wendell Simlin’ as his Jamaican friends call him) posted a poll.
THUD!
The poll was bare a half-hour old before it amassed those embarrassing numbers.
Not one to accept defeat (admirable guy, that), uncle Reno deleted that first poll and tweeted another one.
WHAMMO. (Well, this is awkward.)
History repeated itself, and we all had a good cry.
Reno Omokri finally realized Sunday wasn't a Goodlucking day as far as online polls were concerned, so he deleted the second poll and called it a day -
- but not before Nigerians took a screenshot of the whopping poll results:
I wonder: can we go the AIT way and blame APC for rigging this one too? Someone look into it, please.
