Sports Samson Siasia to invite some foreign players to prosecute Zambian game

The coach of the National U-23 team, Samson Siasia admitted that there's need for him to intensify the Dream Team VI by inviting some foreign based players to the squad that will travel to Zambia for the second leg of the All African Games qualifiers.

Siasia, who has been mandated by the Nigeria Football Federation to qualify for the All African Games drafted five members of the 2015 African U-20 Championship winning squad to join the Dream Team VI to fortify his side slated for Ndola on April 11.

“You are aware that five members of the Flying Eagles have been called up to beef up the team and they have been told to report at the team’s Febson Hotel camp in Abuja immediately as we intensify preparation for the second leg against Zambia," Ebikagboro told Goal.

"The head coach is also looking at inviting some overseas players so that he will have various options as we cannot afford to toy with the All African Games’ ticket at all.

“Even though we couldn’t beat there in Nigeria we are very confident that we are going to get a decent result that will be sufficient for us to qualify in Ndola." Goal
