Sevilla have been crowned the UEFA Europa League champions after beating Dnipro 3-2 in a keenly contested final game in Warsaw on Wednesday.

Nikola Kalinic put the host ahead in the 7th minute but the Spanish side scored twice to take the lead through Grzegorz Krychowiak in the 31st muntes, while Carlos Bacca doubled his side's lead in the 31st minute of the game.

Barely 60 seconds to the end of the first half, Ruslan Rota leveled up for Dnipro via a solo effort but Bacca broke through to seal victory for Sevilla and with it a place in next season's Champions League next season.

Sevilla are now the first team to have won the Europa League four times since it began and are the only team to have won the title back-to-back on two different occasions.

They first won the title in 2006 and then went ahead to retain their title in 2007. They proceeded to win the title again in 2014, and once again successfully defended their title in Poland.
