Politics Support Atiku to Become President-Northern Youths Advise Buhari

Northern Youth Voters Forum (NYVF) has advised former Head of State, General Muhammadu Buhari to shelf his political ambition and support former Vice President Atiku Abubakar to become president in 2015; DAILY TRUST reported.

Rallying in Kaduna on Monday, the youths clad in T-shirts and caps with Atiku’s picture, said they endorse Atiku as the presidential flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress, APC in 2015.

According to the group, other than Atiku no other politician in the APC can effectively challenge the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Addressing the group, National Coordinator of NYVF, Comrade Idris Ibrahim said "General Buhari contested for presidency three consecutive times but was not successful, so we think that it is not wise for another opportunity to be accorded him for fear that it may turn out the same way as the previous ones. We are using this opportunity to urge all the aspirants to give their total support towards making Atiku the President of Nigeria come 2015".

Buhari should swallow his pride, be a statesman and support Atiku Abubakar who is younger, more vibrant and a detribalised Nigerian for president.
Atiku will definitely make a very good president and I strongly believe 2015 is his time to shine and make Nigeria great again. Is time for pdp-led government to go, We want others that are prepared to do the job to come in because PDP has failed.
