Speaker of the House of representatives, Aminu Tambuwal on Sunday said that the 2015 general elections should not be postponed on grounds of insecurity.
According to THIS DAY, Tambuwal argued that if war torn countries like Syria, Afghanistan and Iraq could conduct elections, the security situation in Nigeria should not be used as an excuse for shifting the elections.
The Speaker called on those charged with the responsibility of protecting lives and property of Nigerians to be up and doing.
