The Daily Post newspaper reports that a young man was allegedly shot dead by a mobile policeman at Ibiam Street in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state because of his insistence on seeing the result sheets for the presidential and national assembly elections conducted yesterday.
According to the story, the INEC officials were hellbent on leaving with the ballot boxes after voting but the man insisted on seeing the figures and verifying that the results were put into the result sheet.
Daily Post says this was what led to the killing of the young man.
