Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State, on Wednesday, urged the state Governor-elect, Ayodele Fayose, to wait till he officially assumes office, rather than meddling in government policies unnecessarily.
Fayemi who spoke through the Commissioner for Information and Civic Orientation, Tayo Ekundayo, said he did not require any approval from Fayose to perform his officials duties.
The Commissioner who noted that Governor Fayemi had interacted with the Governor-elect, however reminded all that the tenure of the Fayemi-led administration will end on October 15, 2014.
