Members of the Peoples Democratic Party,PDP in the federal house of representatives have allegedly been given marching orders to impeach the speaker, Aminu Tambuwal who recently defected to the All Progressives Congress, APC.
According to NIGERIAN TRIBUNE, the order was sanctioned, on Monday, by the Presidency and leadership of the PDP.
A PDP lawmaker who spoke anonymously said, "We have been given a marching order to impeach the Speaker, because he is no longer part of us. We are meeting with our party this evening (yesterday) to discuss how to go about the assignment".
So far, it is unknown how the lawmakers intend to carry out the marching orders as the house of representatives is on recess till December 2.
