The leader of the South South geopolitical zone and a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Edwin Clark has said that nobody can stop the party from making any changes in any state chapter of the party where it deems fit to do so.

Chief Clark said this during an interactive session with newsmen in Abuja over the weekend on the recent court order obtained by one Chukwuemeka Aaron, a crony of the Junior Minister for State, Nyeso Wike. Aaron had gone to court asking it to order INEC to recognise the state exco led by Felix Obuah. The Court presided over by Justice Chukwu had granted Aaron’s prayers which also include an order restraining the National office of the party from dissolving the exco until the expiration of its four-year tenure.

Another order made by the court which also contradicts the constitution of the party is that the party should not accept any list of candidates for election except from the Obuah-led exco.
