The action is about to get underway in Brazil as teams compete to do their countries proud. Nigerian Bulletin runs through the 10 footballers you should watch out for at the 2016 Olympic Games.

1. SVEN BENDER (Germany): One of two Bender twins in the Germany squad, the Borussia Dortmund holding midfielder will hope to help his younger team-mates with his experience.

3. ANGEL CORREA (Argentina): One of only two players in Argentina's squad who play their club football outside South America, the 21-year-old forward broke into Atletico Madrid's squad last season and is definitely one to watch.

4. GIOVANNI SIMEONE (Argentina): Recognise the name? The son of Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone, 21-year-old Giovanni is a forward, unlike his defensively-minded father.

5. JACOB BRUUN LARSEN (Denmark): The youngest player in the tournament. The 17-year-old Borussia Dortmund talent was a late call up to Denmark squad but he's the only player plying his trade at a major club.

6. NEYMAR (Brazil): The star name at Brazil's Olympic Games. Having experienced heartbreak on home soil two years ago at the World Cup, Neymar will be desperate to win gold this time in Rio.

8. SIMON TIBBLING (Sweden): One of the stars of the Under-21 European Championship that Sweden won last year. The baby-faced Groningen midfielder, now 21, has talked about how this is a “totally new team” due to the squad differences, but he remains one of the constants.

9. GABRIEL JESUS (Brazil): Manchester City's latest signing will be an unfamiliar face for many European football fans, so there will be plenty of interest in how he performs for the Selecao in Rio.
