Metro 2 South African Communities Give Nigerians Quit Notice

Nigerians in South Africa have been issued with a quit notice to vacate two communities in the country.

NAN reports that the Nigeria Union in South Africa on Wednesday, June 14 accused two communities in that country of ordering Nigerians to quit the territories. President of the union, Mr. Ikechukwu Anyene, said the quit notice was given by the Kuruman community in Northern Cape Province and Klaafontein community, Extension 5, Johannesburg.

Kuruman community gave Nigerians till Thursday to leave the place while Klaafontein community directed landlords not to renew the rent of Nigerians in the area.

The quit notice is said to be punishment for crimes perpetrated by Nigerians.
