The Rivers State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, yesterday warned individuals, groups, agencies, banks and financial institutions in the state having financial dealings with the state governor, Rotimi Amaechi, regarding the 2014 budget should desist from doing so.
The party said any such dealing is ‘illegal and of no effect.’ The party reiterated its position that signing the state 2014 budget outside the legislative chamber of the House of Assembly by few lawmakers loyal to the governor is unacceptable by the party and the people of the state.
