The Nigeria Football Federation have mandated Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi to produce a 40-man list of players ahead of the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

It is understood that the NFF wants Keshi to make available a pool of players from where he intends to draw out his final 23-man squad for the tournament.

The directive is believed to have come from the technical committee of NFF chaired by Barrister Chris Green.

“We expect the coach to send through this list at the latest after the CHAN,” a member of the committee told MTNFootball.com

Some of the players to make up the list could come from those that have been not been part of the team since after the Nations Cup triumph last year, and those who have not been invited.

Players like Joseph Yobo,Haruna Lukman,Chinedu Obasi and Ikechukwu Uche could make be the inclusions that Keshi will make in his team.
