Governors on the platform of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party,PDP may be handpicking their successors as the party has handed them control the political structures in their states.
According to VANGUARD, under the new arrangement, the outgoing governors have been given the go-ahead to pick their successors and also go for any other office of their choice provided they ensure maximum support for President Goodluck Jonathan’s re-election bid.
This new arrangement is coming weeks after the PDP promised that all aspirants on the platform will be given equal opportunities.
