The political group knwn as the House to House Organization has stated that it has earmarked N19.5m to purchase nomination form for President Jonathan when he decides to run for re-election.
The group made the announcement when it paid a courtesy call on the National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Wale Oladipo, in Abuja on Tuesday. “We have saved about N19.5 million to purchase nomination form for President Jonathan once he declares,” said Ogidi Bara, the Director General of the Organisation. In 2011, the PDP presidential nomination form sold for N10 million.
Mr. Bara said his organisation was ready to go from “house to house, wife to husband and do everything possible to sensitise the people on why Jonathan should continue”. Responding, Mr. Oladipo said it was in the interest of the nation for Mr. Jonathan to contest the 2015 presidential election.
