The Senate Leader, Ahmad Lawan had last Thursday said the report would be laid last Tuesday, passed yesterday and transmitted to the President today.

The Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu said the stepping down of the report was to enable members of the Appropriations committee in both the Senate and House complete the harmonization of their report.

As their customary the leadership of chamber secretly takes smuggling in the budget without the knowledge of other participants. But this is criminal offense - PADDLING.
