Nigeria's ex-Presidents Olusegun Obasanjo, Ibrahim Babangida and Abdulsalam Abubakar held a meeting a couple of months ago to determine who would rule the country come 2019, The Sun reports.
At the meeting, it was agreed that the next president must not be older than 70 years, eliminating ex-vice president Atiku Abubakar.
A source close to the leaders says the 'kingmakers' considered some top politicians who have indicated interest, even though quietly, in the race and they zeroed in on a few they could identify on the spot, who also met their set criteria.
They include:
