Recent years has seen improvements to security and infrastructure at most airports in Nigeria and a reduction in the amount of crime taking place in terminals and on tarmac. Additionally, approvals have been given for expansion of most of their terminals, although a time scale is yet unclear. All these improvements and possibly a few others help put the image of the country's airports in a better light as those of other countries, and thus, will be discussed in this write up.

Information
Tourist information including hotel reservation is now easily available at the customer service desks in their arrival halls. And with the help of the recent technology development in Nigeria and the rest of the world today, air travelers can easily log on to the Federal Airport Authority website at: www.fannnigeria.org for additional and concise travel information prior to their departure.

Money Matter
Most, if not all airports in Nigeria have at least a bank, an ATM, and a Bureau de Change located close to its vicinity. This has really brought a solution to money handling issues to the Nigerian Airports as it allows withdrawals and exchange of currencies right within the airport premises instead of carrying large sums of money from your home to the airport and exposing yourself to robberies.

Communication
Post offices are located at most airport terminals in Nigeria. Although, the introduction of modern technology communication means such as the emails, messengers etc may make it seem as if these airport post offices do not function, but in reality, they are still used by quite a number of people who rely on them for sending out parcels, and paper documents deliveries. Free Wi-Fi is also available in their business lounges.

Restaurants
Restaurants and bars are available at these airports in Nigeria. Considering the delays that passengers experience at times at the airports, they can have the opportunity of having a quick meal or drink while they wait upon their departure time. This also serves as a good medium for relaxation and easing the stress of the normal travel process.
