The Nigerian army has announced that 5 soldiers were recently killed during a fight with Boko Haram terrorists.
The Director, Army Public Relations, Brig. Gen. Sani Usman, who made the announcement, added that 3 soldiers are also missing. He didn't reveal the names of the affected soldiers.
“Troops chased fleeing Boko Haram Terrorists up to Doho, Mina Maideni, Donari, Salari, and Lawari villages. After hot pursuit and mop up the troops were able to neutralise an unconfirmed number of Boko Haram terrorists," he said.
“Unfortunately we lost an officer and four soldiers, while three others were still missing," he added.
