As popularly held on to, 'Nature cannot be cheated'. Especially those with huge responsibilities, who seem not to have enough time to sleep. Nigerian politicians are not left out, their busy schedules are sometimes responsible for not getting enough rest, some others old age. But beyond these reasons, they should be mindful of their public conduct so as not to bring disgrace to the people they represent. Below is list of some Nigerian politicians who have one time been caught sleeping in public.
1. Kano state governor, Umar Ganduje. He is often referred to as the 'Sleeping governor' as he sleeps almost every time in public function.
2. Chief Olusegun Obasanjo: The former Nigerian President has also been caught sleeping.
3. Governor Rochas Okorocha: The Imo state governor also was caught sleeping during a visit with President Buhari to meet US President Obama.
4. Governor Nyesome Wike of Rivers state.
5. Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra state: Or could it be that he is saying prayers?
6. Senator Barnabas Gemade: Senator Barnabas Gemade representing Benue North-East Senatorial Zone was recently caught sleeping during the plenary session at the national assembly
