7 Things Nigerians Expect As National Assembly Resume

Distinguished senators and members of the House of Representatives would on resumption seek to attend to various political and economic matters as its affects the country.

They are expected to focus on some issues of national importance while holding in the reserve, their trump card against the executive arm of government using their powers of confirmation of executive appointment and other legislative leverages.

Here are seven things Nigerians expect from the lawmakers as they resume duty today.

1. Economy

What happened after the Nigerian declared three 'alleged' Nigerians with links to Boko Haram and hoe they resolved the issues between the three persons and what they are doing to rescue the Chibok girls from captive after 2 years in the hands of the Boko Haram terrorists.

7. Discovery of Nickel in Kaduna state

The discovery of a potential mineral resource in a small village in Kaduna state is also an important business that the Senate needs to look into. What the federal government is doing about and of what benefits Nigerian and Nigerians tend to gain from the discovery.
