The Osun based industrialist who had been kidnapped on November 19, 2013 in front of her factory while she was leaving for work, has finally regained her freedom.

Mrs. Yinka Obaleye was abducted and her driver, Alhaji Tajudeen was shot dead as he attempted to protect his madam from her abductors. She was reportedly discovered with her car, abandoned by her abductors at Akoko in Ondo State in the early hours of the day, no doubt to avoid questioning eyes.

According to the Osun State Police Commissioner, Mrs. Dorothy Gimba, Mrs. Yinka Obaleye walked to a police station to report her release by her abductors. She was subsequently released by the Osun Police Command in a very weakened state from her experience in captivity. She is reportedly a diabetic and also had fallen ill with Malaria prior to her abduction.
