Following wide spread allegations against Nigerian entertainers who have dabble into politics that majority of them are in for the financial rewards, Nollywood actor, Desmond Elliot; who will be contesting in the 2015 elections has acknowledged the fact that there is money to be made in Nigerian politics.
The actor however, noted that it would be wrong for anyone to presume that he is into politics to make money.
To explain his stand, Elliot said:
"Granted, yes, there’s money in politics but have you asked yourself one question, is it sand that you use to play politics? The answer is No. What you’re playing politics with is money. I’m not so much into what government is going to be giving as allowance, my idea as a fresh mind is how to harness the resources around me and provide for the people."
