Metro Adamawa: Boko Haram's Threat Letter Sends Residents Packing

A threat letter from the islamist Boko Haram sect has reportedly sent hundreds of residents of Garkida town in Adamawa state, northeast Nigeria packing out of their homes.

The purported threat letter was said to have been delivered three days after the insurgents attacked the village, killing four soldiers and several other civilians and other who were swept by river Hawul while trying to escape.

Some locals told #DailyPost that, the sect members have cleared Biji-Biji, a village in Garkida and have also settled in another village called Mbewa, where they promising the people that they won’t harm them as their mission was totally different.
