Governor Murtala Nyako of Adamawa state may resign to avoid being impeached.

According to Premium Times, an anonymous source that is very close to governor claims that Nyako, who left Yola for Abuja on Sunday, is on his way back to the Adamawa capital to tender his resignation letter.

"His Excellency is on his way back to resign so that his Deputy can take over". the source said.

The source also claimed that Nyako decided to resign and pave the way for his deputy to be sworn-in; a move that would force the Speaker of the Assembly, Umaru Fintiri, to also leave office.

Your man is crashing fast....
i dont think so ooh... They are now begging him not to resign because if he does the speaker's course will be lost and he too will have to resign to balance the zoning arrangement. It is called old men SENSE!

Who exactly is begging him?... If he resigns he's leaving with his deputy or the deputy would get impeached in no time. His enemies are not kids; everybody has done their maths. Either way, Nyako is going to be the loser in all this...

The speaker is the one the FG is using to move the impeachment moves against Nyako and his deputy but if nyako resigns the deputy will automatically take over which means the speaker is out too and everyone else living happily ever after.
