The National Working Committee, NWC of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), will today meet over waiver applications made to the party by some aspirants ahead of the Adamawa State gubernatorial elections.
LEADERSHIP reported that the three aspirants who applied for waivers include Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC ; General Buba Marwa (rtd) former military administrator of Lagos State, and a third aspirant whose identity hasn't been disclosed.
Until the waiver is granted, the three aspirants remain ineligible to contest the Adamawa Governorship election under the PDP.
