Politics Adamawa State Governor Appoints Acting Chief Judge, Grand Khadi

Murtala Nyako, Governor of Adamawa state has has approved the extension of the appointment of Justice Nathan Musa as the acting Chief Judge of the state.

The governor has also approved the appointment of Alhaji Muhammed Alkali as the acting Grand Khadi of the state Sharia Court of Appeal.

A statement released by the Adamawa Judiciary Head of Information, Mr Ishaya Lidawus, said ,
the extensions were in line with the recommendation of the National Judicial Council (NJC).

"Both appointments were in accordance with the provisions of the 1999 Constitution (as amended)". (NAN)
