On Monday, Africa’s youngest billionaire, Ashish Thakkar visited President Goodluck Jonathan to talk about his interest in expanding his investment in Nigeria.

He said he has huge confidence in Nigeria despite negative reports of the country because the nation is transforming and there are opportunities available in it.

More so, he added that investment will be in the Information and Communication Technology and in the agricultural sectors of the Nigerian economy. Over $210m will be committed to complete the project.

Thakkar is a Ugandan-born maverick entrepreneur and CEO of Mara Group which IT, packaging and property development, infrastructure, asset management and agriculture.
