Airtel Nigeria is considering listing on Nigerian Stock Exchange.
The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Airtel Nigeria, Mr. Segun Ogunsanya, said this during the Nigerian Stock Exchange Bloomberg 2nd CEO Roundtable on Wednesday, Theme: Navigating the Changing Business Landscape in Nigeria.
He said: "If you're uncertain on the value of your currency, you wouldn't bring in your money till there's certainty."
Telcos should be described as a manufacturing industry (we manufacture airtime)”.
Unlike the Telecommunications giant, MTN Nigeria, which had said that it will list its shares on the Nigerian Stock Exchange in 2017, the Airtel CEO did not mention a particular date it will list shares on the stock market.
