Aisha Muhammadu Buhari is the wife of Muhammadu Buhari, the President of Nigeria, who assumed office on May 29, 2015 after defeating the then-incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan. She is a cosmetologist, beauty therapist and author.
She recently granted an explosive interview with the BBC where she lamented the way her husband is losing his grip on the government to some cabals. President Buhari, on replying to the interview however, flippantly remarked that the First Lady belonged to the kitchen, living room and 'the other room'. Furthermore, calls have been made by an Islamic cleric to arrest the First Lady over the said interview. We wait to see how this goes.
