Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has described Anambra church killings as barbaric act and evil.

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chieftain said the perpetrators must be brought to justice while supporting the Presidency that described the killings as sacrilege.

The Anambra Church killings was barbaric and evil. The perpetrators must be brought to justice. The Presidency was RIGHT to describe the killings as sacrilege.

Recall that President, Muhammadu Buhari, on Sunday night, condemned the attack on a Catholic church in Anambra State, describing it as an unspeakable sacrilege.

Making his grief known in a heavily worded statement by the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, President Buhari said that “there was no justification whatsoever to target church worshipers and kill them in cold blood.

However, Mr. Fani-Kayode said, “one wonders why they (Presidency) did not condemn the killing of thousands of Christians in their churches and homes by Fulani herdsmen and the mass murder of hundreds of Shia Muslims by the Nigerian Army in the same way.

Nigerian police confirmed that 11 people have been killed ad several other injured in St Philips catholic church attack.
