They had been suspended by the National Working Committee of the PDP for allegedly conducting a parallel state congress last Saturday where Andy Uba was nominated as the PDP’s candidate for the upcoming gubernatorial election in Anambra State.

Presiding Justice Ahmed R. Mohammed said that the NWC, of the PDP, attempted to overreach the powers of the court when it wielded the big stick against Andy and others, despite being aware of the pendency of a suit that was entered against the party by the plaintiffs, for which the party failed to show up for in court on Thursday.
