A Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt has ordered the Peoples Democratic Party , PDP and the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC to accept the outcome of the primary election conducted by the Ejike Oguebego-led faction of the PDP in Anambra State which declared Senator Andy Uba as the party’s candidate for the 16 November governorship election in the state.
According to PM News, Justice H.A. Nganjiwa issued the order today following an originating summon filed by the Anambra State factional Chairman of PDP, Ejike Oguebego.
The court also restrained INEC and the PDP from accepting the outcome of the primary election conducted by the Ken Emeakayi-led PDP, pending the hearing and determination of the motion for interlocutory injunction and motion to set aside the interim order the court issued on 6 August, 2013, on the same matter.
