THE Rivers State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress has condemned the harassment of the former Minister of Education, Dr. Oby Ezekwesili, by the operatives of the Department of State Security at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.
The state Chairman of the APC, Dr. Davies Ikanya, said in a statement on Tuesday by his Senior Special Adviser on Media, Chief Chukwuemeka Eze, that the action of the SSS operatives was unwarranted, shameful and a throwback to the dark days of military dictatorship.
Ikanya also described the action of the security operatives as barbaric, wicked, unjust and a slap on the faces of the abducted Chibok girls, who had spent over three months in Boko Haram’s custody.
