The All Progressives Congress (APC) accused yesterday the Goodluck Jonathan-led Federal Government of abdicating its responsibility to Nigerians.

The party alluded to a statement attributed to Dr Jonathan that those calling for the safe return of the abducted Chibok, Borno State schoolgirls should address their protests to the abductors rather than to the President or the government he leads.

In a statement yesterday in Lagos by its Interim National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, APC said it was logical to conclude that “there is absolutely no hope for Nigeria and its citizens under this capricious government”.

It is even shameful for PDP Jonathan-led FGN to just commencing public engagement about Chibok school Girls abduction discussion only after 30days of their abduction. I was amused when PDP joined in the prayer session for the release of Chibok school girls in some of the Federating states, too bad. I thought when Jonathan pretended not be concerned about these girls, and flying all over the place as if the Western world would come the next day and bring back the girls was going to happen. A president who could not be courageous to visit Chibok for fear of death is too bad. If he had visited and killed (god forbid that), would have been more honorable than these shame and international discontent he brought/ subjected Nigera to. 2015 presidential campaign is going to be interesting. There are more than enough campaign materials. He is a villain that ought to have called it quit from the presidential tarmac rather than wait to be ousted.
