Following the fallout of the congress of the Oyo State chapter of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) where two senators of the party boycotted the consensus arrangement which produced new state executives, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Muraina Ajibola, has predicted an imminent fall of the “broom party.”
Senators Olufemi Lanlehin and Alhaji Ayoade Adeseun, representing Oyo South and Oyo Central respectively had on Saturday boycotted the state congress of APC which produced Chief Akin Oke as party chairman.
The duo were before Saturday rumoured to have left the party as Lanlehin moved his structures into the Accord Party (AP), just as Adeseun currently hobnobs with the PDP.
